Own the APIs that quote, issue and reconcile real insurance policies for partners like JISR, Syarah and BMW dealerships.
About the role
The Yasmina API is the product: one integration that turns any checkout into a licensed insurance channel. You will design and ship the services behind quoting, policy issuance, webhooks and insurer reconciliation - code that moves real premiums between real companies, under real regulation.
What you'll do
- Design and build quoting, issuance and webhook services used by all partner integrations
- Integrate new licensed insurers into the platform without breaking existing partners
- Own reliability: idempotency, retries, reconciliation and audit trails for regulated flows
- Work directly with partner engineers when integrations need a human
What we're looking for
- 4+ years building production backend services
- Comfort with payments-grade correctness: idempotency, exactly-once effects and audit logs
- Clear written communication - our decisions live in documents
Nice to have
- Insurance, fintech or payments background
- Arabic language skills
